Chapin Professional Salt and Ice Melt Spreader (80lb)

This heavy duty contractor salt and ice melt spreader features a 360 degree baffle system to control the spread pattern. This unit features an enclosed gear box with metal gears yielding years of service. The diamond shaped extension handle provides user with great strength and durability. ¶¶The solid steel linkage allows the user to open and close the gate with great accuracy. The steel frame directly supports the hopper. Included with the spreader is a conical salt auger which allows smooth flow through the gate. This unit has 12″ diameter, wide tread pneumatic tires and comes standard with a rain cover and grate.
