Electronics are nice but need expensive maintenance. The more sensors the units have, the more likely it will break down regularly. Split type vs window type is an example of this problem.

There is a filipina inventor create what the called air disk an aircon not using any harmful chemicals because it use only air produced cool air it is cheaper to build she cost only less than 100dollar for her prototype and it is energy saving aircon it just consume of 10% energy use by regular aircon.
